Temperate Agroforestry & Permaculture
Welcome to TAP Forest Farm!
Situated below the ancient Pictish hill fort of Tap o’ Noth , known locally as ‘the Tap’, in Aberdeenshire, NE Scotland, Tap Forest Farm is home to the Reid family and is a demonstration and research farm for Permaculture Design and small farm scale Agroforestry.
As well as being a source of on the ground learning and research, the farm also produces ecologically grown fruit and vegetables and raises happy and healthy livestock all integrated within a multi-layered forested landscape - what we refer to as a forest farm.
Run by James and Rosa, the farm is a unique and inspiring foray into tree crop agriculture, Permaculture demonstration/education and off-grid farm-stay holidays and agritourism.
Support us by becoming a Patron of the farm
Take a look at this short film from Regenerative Films who visited us in summer 2021 while we were still running our veg box business and starting to chat about all things agroforestry.
